OPES Organizzazione per l’Educazione allo Sport
OPES is a non-profit Sport Promotion body, recognized by CONI, that cooperates with the affiliated Sport Associations, at local, regional and national level to promote and organize various activities in the field of sport and having social inclusion purposes. Since 1980, OPES has promoted the practice of sport in Italy acquiring an expertise thanks to which it is considered, today, an important ramification and presence around the country. OPES is also a Social Promotion body which implements projects in Italy and abroad with the recognition of the Ministry for Work and Social Policies and the Civic Service Department. OPES focuses much of its attention on youth development and on the acquisition of skills in sports, as well as on the promotion of social and cultural initiatives. Since the year 2006, many of OPES’ projects have strictly focused on activities involving disabled persons or the promotion of sport culture among them.
SPARC Sport
SPARC is a not for profit organisation based in Cornwall (England). Its main aim is to remove barriers to ensure that sport, physical activity, leadership training and volunteering is accessible for people who face disadvantages in their lives. SPARC uses the power and positivity of sport to generate social inclusion, improve physical and mental wellbeing, offer a positive alternative to crime and anti-social behaviour as well as improving and developing transferable skills which increase the chances of the people involved to gain employment. SPARC works in close partnership with several community based organisations among which foster and social care organisations, young parent projects, crime and anti social behaviour team and day centres who works with people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Furthermore, SPARC works in the heart of socio economically disadvantaged and rurally isolated communities to ensure that sport and physical activity is accessible for people living there.

ENGSO Youth – European Non-Governmental Sport Organisation
ENGSO Youth is the youth department of ENGSO. The European Non-Governmental Sport Organisation (ENGSO) is a not for profit organisation, the umbrella organisation of National Sport Confederations and National Olympic Committees from 37 European countries. The vision of ENGSO is to be the leading voice of voluntary sports organisations in Europe. ENGSO’s mission is to promote the interest of sport organisations in Europe; to be a respected voice for grassroots sport; to be a credible partner in European sport policy and an effective platform for an active network of sport organisations. ENGSO’s main aim is to be a bridge building organisation, which promotes European integration and assists member organisations in enhancing sport development and raising the status and credibility of sport in member countries. Furthermore, ENGSO has the aim to promote the role of sport in society, to defend the general interest of voluntary sports movement at European level and ensure the sustainable financing and the integrity of sport in Europe.

ANESTAPS- Association Nationale des Etudiants en STAPS
ANESTAPS is the only representative organization of the students of Sciences and Techniques of the Physical and Sports Activities, whose primary mission is to advocate for STAPS (Sciences et Techniques des Activités Physiques et Sportives) students and the promotion of the sector. Thanks to its work, ANESTAPS has become the privileged interlocutor of institutional partners such as the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Sports. ANESTAPS represents and defends the rights and interests of STAPS students and student associations. The organization organizes various initiatives in the field of sport: training courses for sport professions, sports meetings. ANESTAPS is committed to provide STAPS students with information regarding professional opportunities and works to maintain cooperation among the students and the promotion of community spirit and solidarity among young people.

Special Olympics

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
